How do I create a report that will show me all of the records in which every field is the same in a table EXCEPT for the key.

Here is some dummy info

key field1 field2 field 3 field 4 ...........
x y yy yyy T
x1 y yy yyy T
x2 y yy yxy T
zz z qq kdf F

in this case i would like to report x1 and x2. I have add the table twice with a different alias the second time, but I don't know if that is the best way to approach this problem.

Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated, thank you

I'm sorry here is a repost, I just found out some more information.

The records are not exactly the same. There are 6 fields in common, The rest of the fields may have some descrepencies. We will delete the records that are duplicates in these 6 fields.

Create a formula and group on these 6 fields.

Then you can do a count of them (Insert summary->Count).

Suppress if there are less than 2.
