Migrating from 4.3.6 to 5.2.3
I am not sure why you suggest it has to be done on a separate server. We have the WF client on a separate box from the Rep. Server, so maybe that's why it worked for us. But our Reporting server upgrade from 4.3.6 to 5.x went fine - and our client upgrade went fine also, but we had to install...- tdigs

Migrating from 4.3.6 to 5.2.3
Not sure what process you are going through. When we moved from 4.3.6 to 5.x.x it was an Upgrade - the applications did not need to be physically moved anywhere. Can you explain a little more, are you installing it on a completely separate server?- tdigs

Tscom3.exe Program in loop
tscom3.exe is the program that handles an individual user 'agent' or session. If you were getting dinged with 99% CPU, it must have been the FOCUS process being run by the user that started that agent. Its not tscom3.exe that was in the loop - it was probably a focexec that was processing...- tdigs

are you trying to hold it offline on a drive on the Reporting Server? Or, are you trying to hold it offline on your local PC?- tdigs

FILEDEF and PCHOLD
If it's actually a Data File then it won't work. but if its a report, you may already know this but... You don't have to do a FileDef, you could say ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF ... or WP or XL and it will open locally within that program, or plugin within your browser - then you can save it- tdigs
