This is what I got from the Oracle documentation: The V$ARCHIVED_LOG view shows archived log information from the control file. And when I query this I get every archive log file listed.
We currently have a cron job to delete archive logs over 7 days old. How do I update the control file so that the information for the deleted logs are removed and only the info for the logs not yet deleted remain ?
All users have been set up with no quotas on any tablespace, but they are able to create records. Is this because the schema owner's profile is used or some other reason?
