Thank you, for the quick reply Ken1713. I can get that far. I was hoping to find a easy way to identify all of the mailboxes setup in the directory.
For example, I call my company telephone number, press *2 and then press number "1" for "A". I get 19 possible matches. Of those 19, I have about...
I have been fumbling my way through managing our phone system for many years now. I guess I should begin to learn a little more about this phone stuff.
One question that I have is "What is an adjunct used for?"
I use the number 7300, 7304, etc. at times to free up an extension when the time...
I manage a Merlin Mail Voice Messaging System (Release 3) for the company I work for. Over the past 7 years or so, we have been adding employee names and extensions to the directory so that a caller can dial by an employee's first name.
The problem is that we have not been managing this...
The Exchange Management Console has identified my server to have High User RPC Activity. The recommended levels for RPC ops (operations per second) is 0.25, and my server is coming in at 1.147. I am using Exchange 2007, so the EXMON utility is not working for me. Is there any other utility that...
I have an issue that I was hoping to find a little help with. We have a Merlin Legend R7 phone system. Currently, there are (2) toll free numbers and (2) local numbers being routed to us.

Thanks for the reply DTracy.

I am running a Windows 2003 SE server. I am able to verify that my changes to group policy appear to be applied by using the Group Policy Result Wizard in Group Policy Management MMC. My problem is that none of my users seem to be receiving any of the policy changes. I have even tried to force...
Boot into Safe Mode and run 'msconfig'. In the System Configuration Utility, click on the General Tab. Remove the check mark from the 'Load Startup Items' check box. Click, OK and then reboot. This might help isolate which app or process is causing the system to hang.
Hello All.
I am running a Windows 2003 SE, terminal server. Is there a way to restrict the number of Internet Explorer sessions and AOL AIM sessions per user?
My server utilization is getting out of hand. This sure would help.
Thanks In Advance.

I ended up breaking down and contacting Avaya for support yesterday. Come to find out, a setting in our voice messaging system had been changed. There is a setting that routes all ports to voice mail, automated attendant, etc. Somehow this setting was...
