Heinz will definitely prepare you for the CCIE lab. It's not inexpensive, but then his record speaks for itself. I know for a fact that 8 of 9 in my class are now CCIE's.
Prepare to work 12 hours days for 3 weeks. And it's more than labs.

I passed the CCIE written in September. I personally liked the Que Prep Kit CCIE 350-001 Routing and Swithing text. The recommended reading list on CCO is also a good list. I reviewed most of them. The Caslow tect is always a good reference, but you'll need more than that to pass.

Unfortunately they don't have CCDP guides. I used the text Cisco Internetwork Design along with Cisco website design guides to pass the test.
I took the ICRC class at the end of September (1999), studied every day, and passed CCNA in late December (22nd) while working full time.
