Anyone using this in a hotel enviro?

We recently completed a CallManager setup for a new hotel and casino in Oklahoma that also used the Percipia PTCE middleware along with the ISI call accounting product for integration to the property management system. call recording

You can't go wrong with Witness. They are well recognized in the call center space as a go to product for call recording. They have had strong PBX products, and bought Eyretel for their IP product, which is also very strong. Look at all three for your individual needs, but if I personally had...

    call recording

I am assuming you are talking about IP phone calls, and not calls being made through an analog gateway via fxo interface. IPCC Express has basic call recording features, but for more industrial strength options you will want to look at third parties like Witness (www.witness.com), DataVoice...

Look on CCO for the Cisco CallManager 4.01 System Guide and look for Understanding Route Plans section of the guide. There is a good explanation of how to change calling party presentation to the PSTN. This will show you how to present the full telephone number to the called party instead of...

I need helpd about Calling Search Space

You can use partitions and calling search spaces to keep the phones in the CSS_Internal calling search space from reaching the extensions on the PBX through your CallManager gateway. I believe this is what you are talking about trying to restrict. Apparently, you have a route pattern for 4...

    Translation question

The number being dialed would be the 'called' number. The person doing the dialing would be the 'calling' number. Looks like you are trying to do digit insertion on the number being called, or the 'called' number. If so, then simonITXperts has got you on the right track. ~Pat

Call Manager on W2K Domain ??

My earlier comments were related to the CM being a domain *controller*. Like commsguy, we have seen and placed CM's into the domain and haven't seen any significant issues. However, the recommendation from TAC is not to place the CM's into domains, but have them exist in a workgroup, so that...

Call Manager on W2K Domain ??

It is recommended NOT to place CallManager servers into a domain, rather to leave them in a workgroup. In the past, (3.2/3.3) upgrades would not start successfully if the CallManager server was a member of a domain. This would necessitate a Spirian backup and rebuild of the CallManager server...

    CM 3.3.3 Services Won't Start

You can also deinstall and reinstall the TFTP, CTI, and CallManager services at the command line (with the command line switches) in Win2K. I have had to do that before with the CTI and CM to fix the same problem you are having.
