Lost attachments to email on database repair

After repairing the database (the last resort!!) - all attachments have been lost. This is not what is concerning me as they can be restored from backup tape. However, we are upgrading to new server and to new exchange 2003. Will it be possible to restore these from backup tape once the...

    Outlook 2003 extremely slow

I've had the problem with Outlook behaving very slowly on client machines. But only in the afternoons!! I noticed that in Task Manager Outlook was using 100% of the cpu.. I ended the process and restarted Outlook and it was fine again. However I still have not yet found the underlying...

    Users exceeding mailbox limit?

The priv.edb is on a 5gb partition and is getting close to its limit - only about 150mb free.... which is the space issue I mean. I just find it a little strange that the sender states that our recipient has exceeded their storage limit - but can send directly to me without any problems.

    Outlook using 100% CPU?

This only seems to happen in the afternoon with one of my users.. It is as if it is cacheing everything and hence using more and more of the memory space. The only way I can seem to fix this is by ending the process in task manager on Outlook.exe, and restart the App. Anyone else had this...

    XP LOGON SCRIPTS

Hi Andy, Maybe you have sorted this by now - but I have had similar problems with XP and NT domains. I have narrowed my problem down to XP caching the profiles onto the pcs and therefore not running the scripts unless it has seen the network first. I hve disabled this in the registry so that...

Realistically - How easy is it to set up a secure VPN?

I would like to implement a VPN on our Watchguard Firebox 700. This is purely for remote users to access the network via Broadband access. I consider myself to be a bit of a techie as that is my job, but having never set one up, wanted a true unbiased opinion. [bigears] (I have many external...

Sending an Email Within An Intranet....

We have an Intranet and I need the facility to send the same email to the same people regularly. Ideally, the users would click on a graphic and this would then ask the user to submit the email. This would then send an email template to the specified users. Can this be done using Dreamweaver...
