We have a slight issue in that a couple of our users are not getting the emails they are meant. They are being bounced back to the sender stating they have exceeded their mailbox limits.

We don't have any restrictions on our users whatsoever and I have double checked this. We do have a capacity issue, however, and wonder whether this is causing the error.
(Only happening on the same couple of mailboxes though).

Cheers.

You mean you have the 16 GB priv.edb issue?

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

In some 5.5 versions, there was an issue with anything over 5MB, is that the case here?
You can test that easily first.

The priv.edb is on a 5gb partition and is getting close to its limit - only about 150mb free.... which is the space issue I mean.

I just find it a little strange that the sender states that our recipient has exceeded their storage limit - but can send directly to me without any problems.

150MB free???

You better increase that space FAST before you have a major crash on your hands!
At todays HD prices, there is no excuse to not do so!

Also make sure your transaction logs are on a different partition then your priv.edb or pub.edb but you are going to need more space if you only have 150 MB. If your transaction logs are on the same partition you could move them and create alot of space. Those logs are 5 MB a piece and normally get created real fast. If they are on the same partition just run the Optimizer.
