XP freezes on saving your settings on shutdown
As much as I loved Zone Alarm Pro, it really works great, however, installing software the requires the internet become trickey at times, their service, True Vector, will sometimes make surfing the net next to impossible if you have a membership at any website, as well many programs won't work...- jeffster911

Lost Product Key Code For XP OfficeProfession Ver 2002 !
Phone up Microsoft and tell them you lost the product key code. Tell them your dog ate it or something. Then send in your CD and they will replace it for you with a new CD and key code. It might take a week or so.- jeffster911

All programs except IE, won't connect automatically.
You may have some sort of firewall running that is preventing other programs from accessing the internet. Check to see what firewalls are running.- jeffster911

Boot Problems
I had the exact same problem, tried bootvis, cleaning registry, pagefile, reinstalled drivers, deleted prefetch, still it was taking 260 seconds to load XP Pro. Now I had two HD's, a WD and Maxtor. Bios said that WD was master (as I had expected) and Maxtor as slave. When Windows XP finally...- jeffster911
