Windows does not have a good system for listing programs in the "add remove programs panel" . Try Add Remove Pro from Superwin www.superwin.com/index.htm It is freeware and works great

I had Windows 98 and upgraded to Windows 2000 Pro and found it to be great improvement. I then upgraded to Windows XP Home and it is even more user friendly and, I think, more stable then Win 2000

I've run Norton anti-virus nothing and I will try Trend. I have also run Ad-aware with nothing showing. I don't think it is the mouse, but it wouldn't hurt to try another one and will do so later.
Any other suggestions?

Within the last couple of days my mouse seems to periodiocally have a mind of it's own. It jumps all over the screen, opens windows programs - many times over, freezes and does other weird things. My OS is Windows 2000 Pro
