Hi, I never see all installed programs in Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. With the default name sort the listing stops at "N". With the other sorts Size, Frequency, Date Last Used, I see a different subset of programs, but never all of them.

This is XP Pro Sp2

This list is contained within the Windows registry. If you're comfortable with the registry editor, have a look at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
This key should only contain a default value with no value set. Each key below the Uninstall level, should coincide with an entry in Add & Remove Progams. Does anything look unusual? Alsways make a backup of the registry before you make any modifications!

Thank you both, great info, that was exactly the problem and the tool fixed it :)
