Not quite the client will keep the IP address of the server it obtained the address from. It will attempt to renew the least from this server until 87.5% of the lease time is reached when it will drop the lease and attempt to get a new address from any DHCP server it can find. Paul

Yup tried all these solutions with no luck. Veritas are out of ideas and I have had a case open for months with them. If I find anything new I'll post it as I have another Veritas technician calling me from the States tomorrow to try and fix this.

I have the same problem on the majority of our servers. The OFO cache file is not deleted at the end of the backup and it becomes locked. This means the following backup OFO fails because the previous OFO cache file is still there. The only way to remove is to reboot which is not a viable...
