Thanks for the quick response. I am trying to figure out the programming steps needed to do this as well. I am not sure how to set up the trunk. So it sounds like I can i use the standard dti/pri card...
Can anyone shed some light on how to get inband dtmf caller-id on the Nortel Option 11c? Do i have to use a DTI/PRI trunk card? I have the ANI pkg...i am just wondering how to program the switch to do this and what hardware i would need in my switch to do so.
Thanks in advance...
That's to bad...it did the job for what testing needed to be done in my lab. I guess that's it. I just wnated to be sure this thing could not be rescued somehow.
Thanks for your help...
Thanks for the response…I can’t believe that the switch relies on the flash card to that point. What if the card goes bad etc…? It seems like something else could be done to rescue the system. I'd hate to toss it out to the dumpster (Along with the other one that does not have add/change...
We accidentally installed our good v.6 flash card into another ECS system and it seems to have over-written its translation onto that card. Now when we use it in our other ECS, we no longer have our admin rights to add and make changes. It seems like it the software from the "non-admin rights"...
Is there something I am missing when programming the live record feature on a NEC 2000 IVS2? When I press the record button, the display reads (VM Busy). Just wondering if anyone knows the way around this.
Thanks.
I have a TN767b connected to a Nortel switch that works and it is setup like this:

Has anyone successfully connected these two cards together via T-1? I have a Definity V8 and a Hicom 300 9006.4 and need to tie these two together. When I do a stat on the Avaya trunk group, I get:
10/01 01B0701 OOS/FE-PINS-idle no
10/02 01B0702 OOS/FE-PINS-idle no
10/03 01B0703...
Not a dumb question...I have to try and set it up this way for testing purposes. Saving cash being the bottom line. This switch has no connection the outside world. It is in a test environment with 60 other PBX's that is used remotley through the Lan. It has a Map D which is connected to a...
Thanks for the reply...I tried everything. Maybe it cannot be done using UDP. Seems odd that I can do this using prefix dialing though. If I delete three digits, I get a busy signal. If I don't delete three digits, I get wave off. If I clear UDP, dial my tac (80), then dial the extension...
Is it possible to have a two cabinet Definity PBX (V8) configured for 4-digit UDP and make calls across 2 DS-1's in the same PBX? I have done this between two separate Lucent PBX's, and when I try it within the same one, I get a busy tone. This will work also if I use a prefix first. It seems...
