Nortel Option 11c Inband Caller-ID

Can anyone shed some light on how to get inband dtmf caller-id on the Nortel Option 11c? Do i have to use a DTI/PRI trunk card? I have the ANI pkg...i am just wondering how to program the switch to do this and what hardware i would need in my switch to do so.

If using analog trunks you will not get caller ID with some after market equipment. With DTI/PRI you will provided yor LEC provides caller ID.

Thanks for the quick response. I am trying to figure out the programming steps needed to do this as well. I am not sure how to set up the trunk. So it sounds like I can i use the standard dti/pri card...

T1 or E1 if E1? Using Euro/ETSI need NTAK50 the NTAK79 will not take EURO settings.

It sounds like you have E&M Wink circuits on a T1, and you want the CO to send you *ANI*DNIS* to show caller ID?

I have a DTI/PRI card now...I'd like to do T1. Can the Nortel switch send *ANI*DNIS* to send caller ID to another device?
