Hi,
I need to setup a report so that depending on the user that logs into ePortfolio, they should only be able to see their own data.
I understand that I can setup ePortfolio to NT Login, and from my report's Select Expert, I can check for the login id. How would I be able to set this up?
If...
Hi RSX02,

Thanks Thadeus,
The temp table is the result of my sp. I figured out that I cannot use a temp table for the result of my sp for crystal report. So I created a table out of the sp and now it works. Thanks!
Hi,
I have the same issue. Then I realize that if I remove the use of temp tables in my sp, the error went away.
Is it then that I cannot use temp tables for the sp I use in Crystal?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
I received this error when selecting a store procedure: 'crw32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows'.
I realize that this isn't a prob if I don't have temp tables setup. could temp tables be the issue? Can't I use temp tables in sp for crystal?
Thanks!
Thanks synapsevampire,
When you say "all changes will have to be done manually from that point forward.", do you mean changes to the link only? Or all changes including the select expert and everything else?
What do you mean by SP? Thanks so much, I did it thru a view.
Thank you so much everyone! Since I have the free 8.0 version of enterprise, the saved file is only in rpt. Talking to Crystal abt getting the new version so we can get it saved in excel format.
Naith,
I'm creating a report with 3 columns that are doing diff calc on diff fields. One is to do a count of field 1, 2nd col is to do a sum of field 2, 3rd col is sum of field 3. All these needs to be group for different categories listed on the left. This wouldn't be a good cross tab report...
Thanks Naith,
But I have a problem with eliminating the gaps between the cells. Even when I make the detail section match the height of my field, there's still a gap in between each field on the top and bottom. Do you know what I can do about this?
If I post a crystal report on Enterprise in an Excel format, is the .xls file saved in a file directory? Where would it be or how do I specify where I want it to be?
I would like to display the crystal report with borders around every cell like in Excel. Is there an option that I can select so that I don't have to put borders around each field one by one?
