Hi all We have NAV corporate edition 7.0 on windows 2000. the problem is that the following message " Definition file is sent to server" is sent to the event log in NAV every min. so when we open the event log we just see this message hundreds of times. How can we solve this problem.

I changed the format in outlook to html but the same problem still exist.I also tried the plain text format but the problem still.

1- If we send from outlook to any other email program other than OE then we can see the attachment. 2- we use outlook 2000 and OE6 and E2K server

We have E2k server and outlook express in workstations.If any body send us attachments through his outlook we cannot see the attachments on our outlook express. But we can see the attachments send to us through hotmail or any other mail except from outlook.

ok. I have connected to silent-server1.silentgliss.ca, which is great. But until now I cannot receive on automotionshade.com or do I have to wait for some time ?

But I cannot connect to automotionshade.com: > telnet automotionshade.com 25 the error message could not open a connection to host on port 25:connection failed. and I cannot receive emails yet

Our domains are automotionshade.com and silentgliss.ca

I contacted primus (which is our Registrar) and they clarified that the mail for our domain .com is on their server while the mail for our domain .ca is on our own server(This is from two years long ago before I worked ).I asked that the mail for our domain .com to be directed also to our own...

First of all thank you for helping me.I realy do appreciate it. 1- for the domain .ca the following information is obtained: DNS1 ns1.primus.ca DNS2 ns2.primus.ca 2-for the domain .com, we can only use www with it, but we can not use mail. Thank you again

The first domain is .ca and makes no match The second domain is .com and under "domain Servers in listed order" : it is blank ;no dns servers. Does this indicate anything.

It is our own DNS server

We have One physical DNS server that has the 2 domains and so I tried the nslookup on this server for the 2 domains as illustrated above.

I operated this command in nslookup >nslookup >ls -d xyz.com the MX line was: server1 MX 10 xyz > ls -d abc.com the MX line was: abc MX 10 xyz

1- We can receive and send emails through xyz.com.But when anybody try to send us an email using abc.com he gets an error message: " Delivery to the following recipients failed" and the diagonostic code will be : "smtp;550 Unknown local part " and he can not send the email...
