I've seen this throughout the web as well as the pdf cropping problem...why illustrator palettes clicked as persistent DO NOT STAY PERSISTENT![ponder] Because multiple people use some of our palettes it is not possible to have them in just my settings...anyone figure this out?!! thanks!

After creating an illustrator file saving it to pdf closing out, then reopening the file in illustrator editing it saving it the pdf files are moved/shifted over...very weird and extremely frustrating. Sagethumbs does have this option...however Sage takes the EVERYTHING, need to be able to clip to artboard and eventhough we need the jpgs, they still need to be of decent looking quality. So Sagethumbs is not an option

Every script I find wants to save them all to a central folder, not the file's home folder. I've not dealt with scripts before, is this even possible?

Yes, I know about the batch. However when doing a 'save as' then selecting a different file format it automatically choses that folder so if I open another folder and try to use the action, it will 'save as' into the old folder. Does anyone know a work around? In photoshop it works, but not...
