    Re-Initialize Callpilot

I hacked the VNC, if there's any benefit to that. The HDD's are redundant if that changes anything. Last I hooked up a monitor, it showed the blue Windows NT screen with the dots that just stop after it's finished loading, no errors.

    Re-Initialize Callpilot

Voicemail service is running, BCM Monitor shows 6 usuable DN's, they just don't work. BFT has blue caps, the green caps was the bad unit, so I've read. How about a way to reinitialize through VNC?

    Re-Initialize Callpilot

I suppose I should have mentioned it's a bcm 400 on version 3.7. F982 just causes the screen on the phone to go blank. I can perform a System Startup that erases all the programming but doesn't effect the CallPilot. Seems a warm reset just restarts the MSC, digital side. I may be stuck with...

    Re-Initialize Callpilot

Any way to reinitialize CallPilot without using the phone? I can't get into it using F983 (or F982), seems to just go blank when I try. Needless to say, none of the mailboxes are working either. Thanks

Yeah, defaulted it yesterday, still used port 122 (DN 449). Where is Bus 01 stored? On the MSC card itself?

Do you think it might be one of the two MS-PEC cards?

Looks like it might come to that (replacing the BFT), I had company come in, decided to reset the CP to defaults, problem still exists. Kinda points towards hardware I suppose as it's unable to initialize on port 121. I'm told it should always uses port 121, but in this case it's using port...

Is that the bad caps BFT? I took a look at it, it doesn't have the green caps and they don't appear to be leaking or bulging. It has had issues before forcing me to reset it often. You're correct about the NT #, my mistake.

It says 3.7 build 2.4f in Unified Manager, the NT num is NT7BW0AADJ, says it was made in June of 2003

norstarboy125, good idea! But the VoiceCTI service doesn't seem to want to start if I disable the ports. Perhaps I did it wrong, I used the Unified Manager - Resources - Media Bay Modules - Bus 01 and disabled the ports that way, BCM Monitor shows that it's still trying to allocate 6 ports...

Agreed, I'm gonna let someone take a shot at it first and let him make that decision. How do I reset CP anyway?

Yes, the mailboxes are there, Feature 981 works fine. The Line will never try and transfer the call, it just continues to ring, BCM Monitor just shows "alerting". The strangest part about this is when I use F981 to get to the mailbox, it uses DN 450, I can see it pickup through BCM Monitor on...

    Callpilot extension is busy

Ace, all the other DN's say Busy, except for 449 which says Not Allowed. kungfumstr, all services that start Automatically are running and a few that are Manual are running. If I start and stop the Voice Mail service, the BCM monitor clears the 449 group but reinitializes 449 when I start it...

I think I have 2/6 DD, and I do have IP sets. I tried updating the FNA to 449, the call just drops when CallPilot is supposed to pickup.

I agree that needs to be done. Any other ideas for an immediate solution? Here's what the Switch Properties show: Switch Properties Digits per Extension: 3 Voicemail DN: 449 Definitely should be 450... what determines what port it listens on??

For all sets the call forward on no answer is 450, and now I'm noticing that calls not answered just continue to ring. I tried changing it to 449 but that just drops the call entirely.

Strangely it says 449, I suspect that said 450 before

Reboot yes, current patches no, I don't have access to patches as I'm not a partner.

Thanks Ace, The Voice Ports tab shows: Resource Limit - 6 Enabled - 6 Assigned - 6 Active (on call) - 0 The right side window shows: Voice Mail - group DN 449 The DN's are 445-450 I tried dialing 449 and it said Not Allowed, the other 5 DN's say Busy
