At no point did you say you were trying to do technical drawings. You might look over at www.isocalc.com - Nick Wilkinson has some tools there along with his IsoCalc app for Draw the might be able to help you.
if you were importing with the EPS filter, well, that is just a "placeable" filter and will only show the low-res bitmap header of the file. It will also only print that header unless you print to a postscript device.
Another way to do this would be to have your two squares overlap, then on the...
also, what do you mean by "transparency?" EPS does not support transparency, per se. What are you trying to achieve with this so-called "transparency?" What is the end purpose for the file? Yes, if you use the "interactive transparency" tool, drop shadows, etc., those items would have to be...
You'd probably use Flash for something like this, but the real question is *why would you do this?* Splash pages only annoy the end user and serve no purpose to benefit a website.
I agree with Brushman here. The proper way to create a webpage/site would be to use a real web editor to create the layout. You can certainly create the images in Draw/Photopaint, but you wouldn't create an entire page as an imagemap. And as for imagemaps, you would create those within the web...
you could also add a Clip Mask to the object based on the object's current transparency and then use a Radial fill on the mask fading from black on the outside edge to white on the center of the mask.
Nope, not all AVI files are the same - it can depend on whether or not compression was used... and even then what TYPE of compression was used. And especially if you're using an Adobe product to edit it originally, there's a good chance that the Adobe product is throwing in some proprietary code...
??? not sure I understand your question re: powerclips and manipulating "lines" - those are two totally different things that really don't have much to do with each other. You might want to start a different thread with your question spelled out with more detail so people can get a better grasp...
you'd have to install them - but you do NOT want to have that many fonts installed. Each installed font does take up system resources and a high number of installed fonts will make your OS unstable (and depending on your OS, it may prevent you from installing too many). In BFN you can drag/drop...
Photopaint is not an AVI editor, although it can open AVI files. Your best bet would be to use an actual "movie editor" to place other graphics and text in "movie" files.
Well, the teacher did say a correct statement: "Corel isn't a photo editing program." Of course not. Corel is a company just like Adobe is a company. Corel Photopaint, however, is a photo editing app and a very good one at that.
Dan Margulis, a PS guru/evangelist, gave this review of Photopaint...
Ah, you never mentioned TEXT. You said OBJECT - two totally different things. Are you trying to use Paragraph text or Artistic text? By "conform to the object" do you mean you're wanting text to wrap around the object or you're wanting text to distort altogether into the container's shape?
Are you sure you're not confusing it with the Powerclip function? As for the Envelope Tool, there are presets on the Property Bar or the Docker depending on what version you're using.
