Have a customer that is interested in reusing their Polycom SIP phones with an IPO, they are all in remote locations.
We're in search of the network requirements to do this. Do you need a VPN? Only been able to find docs for install on site.
Thank you!

Avaya has a DevConnect partner that specializes in this area called Computer Instruments, look at their e-IVR Healthcare Applicance. I believe that is what Avaya is referring to in their brochure.

We have been sucessfully using CTI on IP Office to screen dial from Sage CRM on Windows XP machines.
The set up that works perfectly in XP gets the following error in Windows 7: "CTI is disabled because the device IP Office Phone: 123 is unavaible or invalid." We can get the error message to...
We've used ACT! in the past, screen dialing worked great. We currently use SageCRM, that integration is very good too. Goldmine needs 3rd party software, so not ideal.

@tlpeter
You may have read it....
The 4.1 or 4.2 VM Pro docs do say specifically that it is supported but everything since then was vague. I finally got an answer from ATAC, they indicated that TT218 needs to be updated.

Got an answer back from Avaya, 2008 SBS is not currently supported, they are looking to support it in the late 2011 release of IPO.

Thanks, @tlpeter
Any idea where it's documented? The KB only talks about 2003 SBS, the only reference we can find to 2008 SBS is in a Rel 4.2 Tech Bulletin

What is operating system on the PC's that you are using? If it's not a support OS, you may be able to perform regular admin tasks just fine but not perform an upgrade.

Thanks for the feedback. On the M7208, M7310 and M7324, any idea what Release the phones were that you test? On BCM, for the M7208 & M7310, phones Release 16 and higher are supported. On the M7324, Release 5 or higher are supported. Avaya says this won't be an issue on IPO...
I'm wondering if anyone has gotten to test the M7000 series Norstar phones on IPO 7.0? I'm very interested in knowing if all versions of each model work well, seeing that only certain versions of each model worked properly on the BCM.

We need to do a BCM450 6.0 Upgrade and the instructions say:
Updates should be applied in the following order:
BCM450.R600.SU-2
BCM450.R600.IPTEL-7
BCM450.R600.CORE-TELEPHONY-12
We can't find any reference to the BCM450.R600.IPTEL-7 patch. Does it really exist?
Thank you!

MICS is 7.0 with 2 port fiber exp card
The system has 3 LS/DS trunk cards. 2 in the MICS and 1 in the 12x0. We can't see the last 4 trunks in programming.
In Hardware, it shows the module as a trunk module (though it was defaulted to a station mod and we had to change it)
In Port DN status...
I think we are good with IP address. IP Office is the DHCP server, and we are getting same error regardless if we manually enter an ip address or let the system hand them out.
I can ping the phones while they are going thru the continuous boot cycle and the only error showing up on the tftp...
