I would try the sync wizard instead of the one-button sync to try and debug it. it could be many different things. like wrong ip address to an internet issue. We never have our users use the one button sync because you can't debug it when there is a problem. I would rather see a sync profile...

redo your links of the subreport. I have this problem all the time. after you link review the report filter for the subreport to fix the duplication of the link.

Sync will not duplicate contacts between remote users and server. only sync with plam pilots cause duplicate records. I'm not sure what Front Range told you to do.
