Chris, The errors are from our Sophos sweep log and out of the blue this list of errors were recorded the other day. My knowledge is a bit thin on the ground, so was wondering if anyone could point me in some way towards the reason for the errors. Slán agus beannacht. Patrick Boland

    Saving Word Documents AS HTML

On your original Word document can you group all objects - right click/shift/select and group or place objects inside a text box and hide border. Then save, now objects will move as one. Also you do not always get what you expect when saving from Word to Webpage. Slán agus beannacht...

    Disallow logon to LAN

Thanks Spirit, In Server Manager the laptops are all listed. Would it be right to remove them from the domain here and would I expect any problems when re-joining domain. This seems a very easy and "brutal" way of getting what I want, but needs must! I have a float laptop which I can try...

    Restricting file types

Good morning, We are using NT4 and all user group policies are set through Poledit. Any shared/accessible areas can be locked down with permissions and for the internet we use a Debian/Linux Proxy Server with SquidGuard. It was an unused PC which we installed Linux on and all software was free...

Can record a Macro that "make F4" on a cell?

I have managed to do this with multiple workbook, sheet and cell references by using search and replace. I searched !H and replaced with !$H$, thus transforming all references to absolutes - wonderful. Thank you DrBowes for pointing me in the right direction. Slán agus beannacht. Patrick Boland

Could be hardware alright. Try a simple backup with a new tape and see does it go through. I have to say Veritas is great when all is well but it can give a lot of unexplained occurrances. Good luck Slán agus beannacht. Patrick Boland

I would clean the tape drives first. Anytime I had odd and unexplained errors, cleaning sorted it. Once a month I now run the cleaning tape 3 times for each tape drive. Slán agus beannacht. Patrick Boland
