You can try creating a form based on the querry showing everything you said then use the form in word. SEt the mail merge and should have no problems. I am coming to that stage as well. Can it find the database.

You do have the option of setting your own shortcut properties. I think it is in the control properties. There should be something like shortcut key.

There is simply a lock on the amount of records allowed, either on a table or on the form. If you go into properties and under format there is sections for lock records, i can't be sure this is exactly it but the solution is one of those properties.

I have used the switchboard manager to set up a menu structure and it works fine but as it sets a default page the label at the top allways say main menu. How do i change the label automatically when a submenu is pressed can someone help.

There is usally a problem with the data in the table. However you also mention its comming from access 2000 so check your source does what it is meant to be doing.

You can also write a macro to do refresh then set it to run like on load or when you need to .

I agree with foolio12 and have only used that technique when i can't access the database through forgotten passwords and don't want to pay so thanks to foolio12 for help on this issue. This is the last resort and it will probly ask for access 2000 disk as it will rewrite the default. If you...
