I found another way.
I loaded the old ntuser.dat as a hive using regedit.
Then I got hold of a freeware product called registrar lite which lets you work the registry like explorer and I was able to copy and paste the Borland section from the hive to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER...
OK I have to play dumb here.
How do you do it?
Do you load the hive?
Is there a "copy from" feature in regedit?
The file I want to get at is NTUSER.dat in the old profile isn't it?

We have upgraded and replaced our win 2000 server to a win2003 server and as such we all ended up with new user id. XP in its wisdom decided that we needed to have new profiles created. So effectively we enede up with a blank canvas.

We are finding that the outgoing email (external only) seems to be going out but never gets to the recipient. All outgoing (internal) mail gets to the recipient with no problems.

Using Explorer I was able to change Myname.000 to Myname.001 and Myname to MyName.001

I have a XP PC that has a mapped drive (P:) on a Windows Peer to Peer Network. When I start up the PC it is unable to Map the P: Drive.

Thanks for your input ANFPS26 and Mudskipper you were both correct, in regards to my Win'98 operating system.
On XP I had to download the latest driver (50MB) which had a diagnostic on it that said my mixer needed fixing - which it duly fixed and now I can record on both OS.
