Just wanted to say thanks to MerlinMan and MemphisRibs !!
I replaced two "016 Ring Gen" cards today, and our problem has been solved.
Your assistance is very much appreciated.
MerlinMan - you hit it !
If I busy-out slots 13 and 15 (both are 016 Ring Gen cards), my problems go away. So I have ordered two replacement cards.
Thank you very much . . . .
memphisribs - thanks for your reply. However, I cannot find "maint -> port -> ttr". I'm using WinSPM, in Standard SPM mode. I click on Maintenance, then I click on Port. On the port menu, there is no choice for TTR.
The choices on the Port Menu are:
F1 Line/Trunk
F2 Station
F3 RS232 Port1...
Thanks for your suggestions. I have followed the TTR test procedure. I think our system has 24 TTRs. However, I can only test #01 through #16 (which test OK). When I attempt to test #17 through #24, the system behaves like they don't exist.
I think I have 24 TTRs based on our config:

I suspect that I have several bad Touch Tone Receivers in our Merlin Legend system. I'm no expert - - so here's my question: If I busy-out a card (specifically an 016 Ring Gen), does that take the card's Touch Tone Receivers out of play ? I'm trying to determine which card (or cards) have the...
Reply to Photon33: Thanks for your suggestions. I'll admit, it sounded odd to me -- because we do not use Exchange. But I did as you said (set Outlook to 'Corporate or Workgroup Option') and it works !! VMPro is sending alerts via MAPI, through Outlook, to our ISP's SMTP server. Quite a...
Reply to Intrigrant: Thanks for your suggestions. Concerning MAPI, we are not using Exchange on our network. We send mail directly to our ISP's smtp server. I did verify that VMPro logs on using the proper domain UserID. I also checked that I could start Outlook without having to enter a...
Hello All!

I'm trying to get VmailPro to send Alerts via SMTP (since I've had no success with MAPI). I watch the log for VmailPro and do not see any references to...
Can you give me a little idea of what you did in the registry ? I may have the same problem -- running VoiceMail as a service, cannot send any email, but Outlook works fine.
Thanks !

Hi Frank,
Our VPN is comprised of WatchGuard FireBox SOHO 6tc units in the field and a WatchGuard FireBox 1000 in the main office. We are very happy with the WatchGuard equipment and have not had any problems with it. The 'hiccups' on our VPN are caused by the 'field end' ISPs (mostly cable...
We are using an IP406 system which supports 5 IP phones (model 4612) at remote office locations through our VPN. From time to time, due to conditions on our VPN, a 4612 may loose its connection. After recovering, the phone will display the proper Extension Number, and require that # be pressed...
