We have several 403's at our remote sites and an S8700 at our central site, I would like to setup a conference bridge and am not sure which system to do that on. Our IPOffices are using integrated Audix so I don't have VM lite or PRO, and I didn't know about conference center.
All I want to be...
Yes, the OLD.IP.RANGE/29 and NEW.IP.RANGE/28 are totally different IP ranges, however they are both from the same provider so they are both configured to use the WAN router serial interface IP address.
I currently have a public IP range from my ISP of /29, we have run out of addresses so I requested more and they gave me a second range with /28, the new range is configured to use the same router IP as the gateway but I am not 100% what I need to change on my PIX so it will handle that new...
Telemarv - Thanks for the info, I had a feeling it was 6 by something since there were the 6 line ports on the left side, but wasn't sure if software or system version dictated how many of them worked.
Phtek - Do you know where I can find a description of the pinouts for the 66 block?
Thanks all!
Can anyone direct me to a good reference resource to use for programming buttons, I have several M7310 phones that I need to add another line to, and I want to move the INTERCOM and other keys around.
Thanks.
I recently purchased a bulk of network and phone equipment at auction from a failed business in the area, included in this was a Nortel NT5B01 phone system. Doing a google search revealed this is a 6x16 KSU system, however I also noticed the same part number also claimed it to be a 6x8 and 4x8...
I am trying to add a 5th phone line to my CICS, I know the line is good as I have punched it down on my old line 4 and get tone, I have added it to the system as LINE025 and programmed it on a phone however when I press the line button I get dead air and then a message stating "NOT IN SERVICE"...
I have a quick question about the basic conferencing bridging -
We have several IPO and I would like to setup one as a conference bridge, can we do that if we are using centralized Intuity voicemail? If so can someone point me toward some setup docs, I can't seem to find any.
Thanks.
Hi, I have a PIX 515E that I inherited and haven't really touched much since it was running happily, however we are now doing disaster planning and I am looking into a failover unit. I noticed the VPN software was enabled on the PIX and was wondering if someone could point me in the right...
Hi, dumb question - My ISP recently gave us a second range of IP addresses (our current range has a 29 bit mask) with a 28 bit mask, how would I go about adding this range to the outside interface on my PIX so I can create additional translation rules to my internal hosts.
Thanks.
Users can ping the internet address of the PIX without a problem, they can't ping the router but that is the same for all the hosts, I know the route is correct on the PIX because I can ping any host on any VLAN from the PIX. I figured it has to be a setting somewhere but can't seem to find it.
I do understand VLANs, I have my L3 doing all the routing between my VLANs now, which works fine since my users are on 3 different VLANs and my servers on a 4th, and I have a route statement on my PIX for the entire 10. class A which summarizes my entire network but still no luck...
We have just moved from a single flat network to a segmented network with multiple vlans, previously everyone on the segment was able to access the internet without needing to configure a proxy server however now it seems that no machines, except those in the same VLAN as my PIX, can access the...
We currently have our Internet access via a 512K PVC on our frame and I need to add additional bandwidth. Instead of using the same frame provider I have gone to a second vendor to add some redundancy, I assume since I have a free slot in my PIX I can add another ethernet interface but I am...
pmesjar - so if I create a management vlan (say vlan99) and I assign a separate vlan address for vlan99 on each of my switches (all in the same subnet of course), but all my switchports are assigned to a different vlan, how can the concept of a management vlan apply unless I have a host in that...
vipergg - I have a L3 switch at my core, connected to multiple L2 switches, I setup VTP on the L3 and the VTP domain has successfully propogated to the L2 switches. I haven't limited any vlans on my trunks between the core and the edge switches, and I can ping the L2 switches when I telnet into...
