    OK, thanks for the info. Consensus seems to be that agent v9 won't work with AS2000 then. This is what I expected , but CA no longer selling the agent for Exchange for AS2000 is a bit of a pain! Hopefully they will offer a downgraded licence for free...I really do not want to have to pay...

    I have installed and configured the backup agent successfully - according to the screen output - but it's not showing up in AS2000. Is anyone using this version of the agent with AS2000 ? Thanks D

    I had this problem in April '02 after applying an Arcserve Service Pack. go to http://support.ca.com/Download/patches/asitnt/arc_eng_menu.html and get the latest Service pack/patches.

    Brigstore Arcserve Exchange Agent works on Arcserve2000?

    Can anyone tell me how to get this to work? I have AS2000 installed with SP4, and have installed the exchange agent v9 - I cannot see the exchange option in AS2000 Manager. I'm probably missing something obvious. thanks D
