Won'd back up GIF and JPG files

We are using ARCServe2000 on Windows 2000 server. I have received E3406 every day and saying that "Unable to read file ... Shareing Violation". It only happens for those files with GIF and JPG format. Our backup running from 2:00am to 4:00am every day. And I know that no one would use those files during the backup time.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I've seen this before are you sure av isn't scanning the server at this time?

Where did you see this? What was the solution? I have posted this issue on CA ARCServe forum and haven't heard anything from there.

Where to get the latest patches? No, there is no other things running at this time.

What agent are you running on the affected server?

We are using ARCserve2000 Advanced Edition Version 7.0(Build 1086), Backup Agent for SQL server, and Backup Agent for open files. Any clue? Thanks.

I had this problem in April '02 after applying an Arcserve Service Pack. go to

http://support.ca.com/Download/patches/asitnt/arc_eng_menu.html

and get the latest Service pack/patches.
