This is my first Win2k3 installation. It is not like Win2K.

Win2K3 has a built in firewall much like XP. Look under metwork connections, advanced tab and you will find the firewall enable/disable.

You might try going to network connections , select advance settings and turn off firewall. I had to do this to install AD.
