    You need W2K drivers for your modem. You can leave your laptop to install the modem it detects and test it. If it works don't fix it.

    O.K. Open your web browser Tools/internet options/programs/e-mail select Microsoft outlook. Then Open outlook Tools/options/mail delivery/mail account options Uncheck "send message immediately...." check "check for new messages" This will do the trick...:-D

    Passwording Folders

    I'm not sure if you can accomplish what you're trying. But, in W2K Pro you can set rights for just yourself on those particular folders. Good luck
