I would like to password protect microsoft outlook 2000 so that I am prompted for a password when the application starts. I am working in a windows 2000 environment. Is this possible?

Are you working in a corporate/workgroup setup?

If so, go to Tools/Options
MailServices Tab
Prompt for Profile
This will ask you to logon with password for each session.

If not in a workgroup - I haven't tried it, but would assume you could find the .pst file and put protection on it.

Good Luck

If not in workgroup. Try this...
Go to Tools
Accounts
Select the account you want to prompt for password
Properties
Server
Unckeck the box "Remember password"
