The T3 is a hardware raid box, direct connect to 220R is fine.

See if you have Lun's configured or not, use async conn first to set IP adress if you don't know that.
Don't forget the RSM tray is differential SCSI. not Single ended. So you need a differential SCSI controller in you PC, I think there is your problem.
Default SCSI adresses are 8 till 14, so you need a wide differential controller.
You can set dipswitches/jumper in the RSM tray to get the SCSI...
Only Major releases of Solaris are shipped as a push version, So when Solaris10 comes out, you will get one automatically.
Update versions of Solaris (aka hardware releases) are called pull releases, you need to request them, or via your SAM or TAM, or just call support center.

Try Sun or Solaris, If they come from Sun direct, there is no password, ask your vendor.
When your not able to break, it might be that the break sequence is altered or disabled, send a break earlier on the boot process, before the kernel loads, that might help.
