Win 98SE Internet Explorer and Outlook Express 6.0.
I posted this problem last week and there was a very good reply, now I have an update.
Sometimes (but not always) when new e-mail is downloaded, the four headers and the messages in the upper part of Outlook Express turn completely black, also...
On two occasions today when the blacked-out problem returned, I used Norton Utilities to `Find and Fix problems' and the following is what Norton came up up. Norton did fix it both times, but the problem just seems to keep coming back.
What is the interpretation of what Norton is telling me...
Using Win 98 SE, IE 6.0 and Outlook Express. For the past couple of days, when I try to download a program I get the following message: The Service Profile is damaged. Re-install the Service Profile.
Can someone please explain this to me and how do I Re-install a Service Profile.
Win 98 SE, IE 6.0 and Outlook Express. I have my system backed up (on CD ROM's) and, after a crash a few months ago, I was able to restore things such as my Favorites and Address Book; is it possible to restore/reinstall `Sent Items' to Outlook Express?
Using Win 98, IE 6.0 and Outlook Express. Quite often when new e-mail is downloaded to Outlook Express all the headers turn black so it's impossible to read anything (in the four lines). Simultaneously the Address Line in IE also goes black.
I've tried the `repair IE' option but it hasnt helped...
