"You can check this by having a quick look at the Digital Signature tab in the file's Properties"
THAT is the problem - there is NO file in the untrusted tab to look at!!!
But the original problem is to REMOVE an unwanted certificate that is already there - except that it isn't "already there"!
To unblock a software publisher:
1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
2. Go to the Content tab, Look under the Certificates...
No power light - nothing. The "brick" has a LED to show that it is connected. Indicator light on monitor is dead.
I was looking to fix it myself - it is a "freebie" so I didn't want to put any money into it!
Linney:
Went through all of that (a problem since I.E. has been switched to EDGE by default of Win 10!). I have a few listed in "Trusted Certs.", but none listed in "Untrusted Certs."!
I recently tried to install some software from Samsung. I get an error message "This publisher has been blocked from running software on your machine."
At the bottom of the message, it states that I must unblock this publisher. Then it gives a link to "How do I unblock this publisher?"...
I don't know if this should be in "video", or "hardware".
Anyway, I recently acquired a Samsung SyncMaster SA750. No power supply. I got the proper P.S. from Amazon, but the unit remains dead! According to the docs from Samsung, a control panel is supposed to appear in the base, to set it up...
Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool

O.K. - bit the bullet and did that! Made a USB stick on the M.S. site given. Went through two hours of "down loading" updates, and installing what M.S. put on the USB stick. Installation...
To get more Insider Builds to update 10240 try Signing in to Windows as an Administrator. Go to Settings/ Update and Security/ Windows Update/ Advanced options/ Get Insider Builds"
Did all of that. Clicked O.K. on all the warning screens. The computer rebooted - and I STILL have 10240!!!

I have three computers running. Desktop with 8.1 Pro, Laptop with Win 7 Home, and a test desktop built expressly for Windows 10.
The 8.1 desktop has the little icon that says that Windows 10 IS coming eventually.
The Laptop (Win 7), doesn't even get the icon announcing Win 10.
The desktop...
Yeah, that's all I could find also. No, it doesn't appear anywhere! That's why I wrote. Even search finds nothing! The only indication of any such program, is the pop-up from Panda!
Occasionally, I get a pop-up that this program is trying to run, but my Panda A-V blocks it. Any idea what it is? All that I can find is that it is a program from M.S. to be used on the Window phone! What's it doing on my desktop? Is it needed for the Desktop? If not, how do I get rid of it?
Thanks,
Yes, I am on the Fast loop. I have received every update on time, that's why I am puzzled by the inability to get this one.
Went to the "Insiders" forum, and read 11 pages of people who couldn't get 10525! On the last page, it was devoted to users who had tried all of the suggestions (like I...
Addendum: I mentioned that I am already at "TH2". The registry actually says "TH2_release". Should I change this to plain "TH2"? I don't REALLY enjoy playing with the registry <grin>!
That is what has me confused: I am still using 10240 (I should have 10525).
Windows update says that I am up to date!
I checked the registry, and it is already at "TH2". Why am I not getting 10525?
