Error message

I recently tried to install some software from Samsung. I get an error message "This publisher has been blocked from running software on your machine."
At the bottom of the message, it states that I must unblock this publisher. Then it gives a link to "How do I unblock this publisher?".
Unfortunately, that link just opens up the general Win10 help file. No mention of "unblocking"!

Typical Microsoft!!!

In addition to the other comments, try the following:

To unblock a software publisher:
1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
2. Go to the Content tab, Look under the Certificates section.
3. Click on Publishers button. (this is an Arrow sliding control)
4. Select the Untrusted Publishers tab.
5. Select the Publisher you wish to unblock and click the Remove button.

Went through all of that (a problem since I.E. has been switched to EDGE by default of Win 10!). I have a few listed in "Trusted Certs.", but none listed in "Untrusted Certs."!

then switch to IE. There is a link in edge to switch over to Internet Explorer

I normally use FireFox (faster than either I.E., or EDGE!).

But I went into I.E through programs, and found no untrusted certs.!

publishers has nothing to do with certificates. It is a seperate button in IE

Yes, like I stated above: I do have entries for "Trusted Certs.", but no entries listed on the "Untrusted Certs." page.

You don't care about Untrusted Certs, You care about trusted Publishers. A completely different tab

correct, you have to add a certificate into the Trusted Publishers, By default only applications signed by Microsoft is trusted.

But the original problem is to REMOVE an unwanted certificate that is already there - except that it isn't "already there"!

To unblock a software publisher:

This is almost certainly related to a digital signature rather than directly to trusted (or untrusted) publishers. You can check this by having a quick look at the Digital Signature tab in the file's Properties

If it is, then a couple of workarounds are:

1 Run the program from elevated command prompt (easy)
2 Remove the digital signature (not so easy)

THAT is the problem - there is NO file in the untrusted tab to look at!!!
