no it does not. i was thinking this because of the message i receive about the overclocked settings, maybe it could be one of internal voltages. have tried the card on 2 other boards and have gotten the same result.
yes i have checked and there is no option to do so. i was thinking maybe it could be that maybe there is a problem with one of the voltages on the video card. I have tried a another card in there and it works fine (Radeon 9200 26MB). any thoughts on that matter?
I have a XFX FX5200 256MB and when i put in i get no video and then i hear the pc restarting and then still no video and nothing happens. Whne i take it out and run on onboard video in the POST i get a message saying something like "your settings were not saved because of overclocked settings...
I went to my computer, right click, manage,disk management and realized that the drive is unallocated. Is there anyway 2 fix this without losing my stuff if its not already lost?
i am having a problem with a seagate 40GB hard drive(ST340823A),it is not new and used 2 work fine. When i put it in it is detected in the bios and when XP boots up it show that it has detected a new disk drive. When i go into my computer the drive is not ther but when i go into device manager...
sorry it took so long for a respnse. i have been told thats it is the memory which has gone bad. i have had the card for a while so i'm gonna have to buy a new one :(.

Didnot get nay firmware upgrade but tried it in 2 other machines and it does the same thing on one of them.
The card is running at factory specification.
Sorry not 4 horizontal lines. It actually has 5 white vertical lines at the POST screen and after that it turns into several thicker red lines. In windows and at the loading screen there a several broken vertical lines on the screen.

I have a Gainward FX5900 Ultra 256MB video card and on the POST screen i get 4 white thin lines goin horizontally on the screen and after the POST screen these 4 white thin lines turn into 4 red thick lines. What is this? Can it be fixed?

I have a external cdrom case and i wanna know if it is possible to use a hardrive in there. I have tried it but it does not seem to recognise the hard drive. is there software or something i am supposed to use.
I tried it again wit another stick of ram(256MB DDR266), couldnot let it go jus like that, and i got power for only about 2 seconds and it died.
What would cause these things to happen, the smoke, no power on my mobo?
