I went to the FAQ's and started to build a route and got to route:001 then show, then dialout: No number leave alone-Next, then I have a pool choice, do I use Pool A? If I select next after pool A it says "end of list". There is no choice for DN type.
After that I thought I built a route and...
I'm trying to set up my call forwarding on a Norstar CICS 4 x 8 on a T7316 phone. I want to be able to press "Call FWD" on the phone and have calls received on line 2 to be forwarded after 4 rings to my cell phone. Is this possible? Is there a section that walks you through this process?
Thanks...
I GOT IT!!!!!!!!! I went to Terminals and sets, show set #, telco features, feature assign, then assigned my lines. In the past I always bypassed the feature assign and for some reason I saw it today. Thanks for all your help everyone. I'm sure I'll have another question for you sooner than later.
I cycled the power, still nothing, I checked Bob904's suggestion and all calls are logged. Still nothing. Caller Id is working on other phones not in the nortel system.
This is not reconditioned equipment. It is brand new. I just can't accept the fact that this could be a defective switch. There has got to be something else. Anyone? Anyone?
I have a caller ID card installed and when someone calls in it does not come up on the display unless I press F811. I thought this software could make the display the call id without pressing any buttons. Is there something I'm missing. I've set all the sets caller id to "yes". Thanks...
Yes it is a StarTalk Mini. I've come to the realization that this is an antiquated system and I am most likely going to go with a whole new system. What do you guys think of a CICS 4X16 with a flash or call pilot voicemail? I am still new to this but am learning at a rapid pace. Does this CICS...
I've used the F984 to set the startalk time, but am having trouble entering 03 as the year in the year field, it says "invalid date". Is this not Y2K compliant??????? My 616 was able to input the correct time, what gives?
Thanks curlycord. Do you think call pilot is better than startalk flash (which I believe has 2 greeting tables). Also is it possible on the star talk mini to listen in to messages as they are being recorded? Thanks for your help.
Is there a way I can have a different incoming message for the voicemail system on a norstar startalk mini 2? For example if someone calls in line 1 (555-5555) they get a standard greeting, but if they call in on line 2(555-5554) they get a different greeting. How would I set this up? Thanks.
