Is there a way I can have a different incoming message for the voicemail system on a norstar startalk mini 2? For example if someone calls in line 1 (555-5555) they get a standard greeting, but if they call in on line 2(555-5554) they get a different greeting. How would I set this up? Thanks.

Startalk mini has only one greating table.
You may want to upgrade to a callpilot 100 or 150.

Thanks curlycord. Do you think call pilot is better than startalk flash (which I believe has 2 greeting tables). Also is it possible on the star talk mini to listen in to messages as they are being recorded? Thanks for your help.

No you cannot listen to them as being recorded.
Callpilot is the replacement to the Flashtalk (manufacture discontinued).
Callpilot is much better then the Flash in a way as it is cheaper for one as you need not to pay for so many mailboxes anymore when you do not need them and if you do need them eventually then you need to purchase keycodes to have them activated.
Callpilot 100 comes with 4 ports (bonus)and 10 mailboxes and has a NIC card built in so that you can access the manger via laptop or your network.
Callpilot is a bigger version in the same size case with 8 ports and more mailboxes and supports off premise transfering to another location from your mailbox.

Curly,
I read the CP 100 as comming with 4 channels, 20 mailboxes or 10 call center seats (I'm not 100% on this yet... it was my understanding too that it started with 10 Mboxes but... , 4 AA greeting tables and 8 trees with 10 submenus. This all without upgrade. I'm in the middle of my first CP 100 installation now. Many?? so far. One interesting thing is that the manual claims the CP 100 can not initialize with a phone. Well..... I think I did just that because I was having difficulty with the LAN connection. Couldn't ping. I can so far attest to the issue of it having 4 greeting tables and the access to build 8 trees. So far I think the CP100 is quite an item. (two whoops) Whoop Whoop.

I have installed 3 so far and 10 mailboxes is correct...I aslo have not pinged the the pilot yet, you need a cross over cable for direct connect but even then I had problems but was taking too much install time to figure out why I could not ping it.

Curly,
Ah. OK. The manual states that CP100 can not be initialized from a telephone. That you must use the CP Mangler from the ethernet port. Well I found that you could do the set up from a telephone and am wondering if the maunal has it backwards... that you can't use CP Mangler unless you have the CP150. ?? I go back to site later today.
