Also there is a registry setting that can be changed for 95 machines that get stuck on the shutdown screen. What version of norton are you running?
If you install all the applications under the Administrator profile then the applications should work for all users. I have deployed hundreds of 2000 pro workstations with no problems installing everything under the local administrator profile. Hope this helps.
Here is a program that could help you. It cost 30 dollars though. I am sure if you search long enough you could find one for free. I don't have much time so good luck

I have set this up on my win2k with no issue. When you go to make the local port make sure the box is unchecked automatically detect my printer. When you put in the port name I assume you put in the ip address. If this local standard ip printer is setup already make sure that the everyone group...
Well, You can automate it if you want to. I tried it just to test and it worked for me. All you have to do is create your folders which you already have. I did not setup personal folders. I just created folders under the sent. Click on Organize. Then click on the rules wizard on top right. Click...
I know exactly what you are talking about now. I am still working on it. I am having the same problem too. I will let you know if I come up with a fix.

I always have the same thing when I got to file open inside outlook 2002. I don't see any recent files that even come up. Can you explain a little more in detail what is going on?
Here is a website that should be useful for your situation.

All I can say is re-check the microsoft client and make sure the domain is checked with the correct domain. Check the identification tab and make sure the domain is right in there. Make sure tcpip is installed. Can you see anything on the network? You may want to try to update your network...
What office version are you running. What mail application is being used? Outlook 2000 or outlook 2002(XP)
I am assuming you are using one of these. Maybe you are using outlook express. It would be much easier to know which mail application you are using.
Go to the control panel and users and passwords on the local pc logged in as administrator. Add a user ie jsmith on ie domain:JVC. Type in the user name and domain. Next click on the other button to make that user have administrator rights. It should show up like jsmith/JVC under group should...
Go to the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View. Click Other Settings, and then make sure there is no check next to Preview unread items. Make it No autopreview.
The icon has a paper with a little speaker on it. You are using outlook xp right. If you aren't then there may be a different way to do this. I am just telling you for the office xp version. You will have to be inside the body of the email for these icons not to be greyed out.
I would try to disable the dial up account in the control panel under network and dial up accounts. What does it say when you try to access the internet? Does it just go to that page telling you to check your network settings?
