I am waiting to hear back in regards to some things. HERE is what they want. They want calls from the main number to ring in like co lines, and they ALSO want the DIDs, to act, like, well, DIDs. In the legend it gives my the option for line routing, or dial plan routing. So they could all act...
Oh, and the "main" number that they are giving me will be completely different from the DIDs. It will be the number that we have on the copper right now. I am wondering if the system will see that number as a DID, or what.
Okay, basically, I need to know how to set this up! So here we have 1 PRI with 4 b-channels, and 1 d-channel. SBC has the PRI set up so that there is a block of 10 DID numbers, and 1 main number for the whole thing. Here is what we want to happen with this. When a person dials one of the DID...
Nup, it is BRI, for sure. THey said 1 D channel, and 2 B channels. What you just said sounds like BRI to me, but, they said that they could get one of the BRI channels to emulate a DID trunk. I said that was just dandy, but, I dont think the LEgend will know what to do with it.
I know that one can have Direct Inward Dialing with a PRI, or, on a channel configured as DID on a T1. But, Can I have Direct Inward Dialing with a BRI? The manual for the Legend says nothing about it, but, the telco does indeed offer it.
Wha, there is a license? I never purchased a license! From the day I got the software, it just printed out the label when I clicked "Print" when I was on the programming page for that phone. Hmm, oh dear, I wonder if the Avaya people are gonna come knockin on my door one day to haul me off?! And...
There is an even easier way though. If you have winSPM then you can go to the "Program" page for a phone, and, do a "File" "Print" and it will print out a label on printer paper, with nice little dotted lines for you to cut on. I like it
Too bad you dont have a Legend. The printout feature for things like this, is truly wonderful. Im not sure why it wouldnt let you assign ASA on 19. Make double sure, that you really did remove Busy Buster from 19. And if all else fails, the picky guy shall suck it up, and change his extension.
I sure do. Press: FEATURE 0 0. Now, press an SA button, and press * 3 2. If it is a display phone, you will select a new ring via the display, there are 8. If it is not a display phone, you will simply press numbers 1-8 on the numberpad, to listen to the rings. If it is a display phone, press...
Are you sure that you have the correct tape for your machine? Intuity and WINspm, have the POTENTIAL to be related. First, you must aquire a 355AF adapter. You will plug the 355AF adapter into the back of the intuity, and use an 8 wire cable (CAT 5) to connect the Intuity, to the Admin port on...
Ok, first things first. Does the Audix have 4 jacks on the back of it for the voice ports? Well, if it does, this actually means you have 12 port voice mail. Let me exlpain. Each Audix jack, has 3 pair of wires in it, which means that each jack, contains 3 voice ports. There is an adapter that...
It does indeed need to be formatted. Login as SA. Go to "Customer Services Administration" then to "System Management," then go to "UNIX Management." Go to "Format UNIX Floppy/Tape." Insert the tape, and select the appropriate tape type. Follow the instructions, and you should be good to go.
Audix is easy. Tell me what cards you have in the system. IF you do not have any T/R cards, you have been screwed, an Audix wont work without those. If you do have a T/R card, what are the extension numbers on the card? This will simply make it easier for someone to instruct you. Do you have the...
