An administrative assistant is assigned to edit the user properties so that Outlook Address Book will show correct titles, telephone numbers, addresses, etc. when things change.
I cannot give this user administrator network rights nor do I want to have them browsing around in Active Directory...
That sounds interesting.
I already have a SMTP connector functioning.
Are you talking about modifying the Delivery Options/Specify when messages are sent through this connection/Use different delivery times for oversize messages option?
That certainly seems worth a try.
Thanks!
I am having problems with users sending moderately sized attachments to many recipients.
An example is a user sending an email to 50 people outside our company with a 2 MB attachment.
This is causing excessive network utilization which is impacting network performance for 10-15 minutes.
I can...
Did anyone ever find a solution for this problem?
I'm having the exact problem and none of the above suggestions have helped.
I even recreated the invalid user account and the messages are still bouncing.
Thanks,

Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying Open File Security Warning caused by an "Unknown Publisher".
My users are linking to an executable on a server and are getting this pop-up when they run a particular program.
The publisher is known to us and it seems like we should either be able...
I have the same problem.
I've removed the old and reinstalled. However when I upgraded using the SP4 package install it fails again.
Is there a "client only" update available anywhere on the CA website?
I can't find it anywhere.

Can you create a file system device on another server?
I setup a share on another server with a large unused HD. I then mapped a drive on the backup server to it and set it up that share as a file system device in arcserve.
It wasn't recognized though as readable media.
Has anyone done this...

Although this is not supposed to be specifically to fix the client install...it works!
Thanks for everyone's input.
Hope this helps someone later...
The fix was from 2001 and has not been incorporated...
There was a problem where I couldn't start the installer service as the localsystem account. I finally got that fixed based on your suggestion by enabling rights to HD and then modifying local security settings/local policies/user right assignment and adding the admin accounts to the Log on as...
I tried the remote install last night. It stopped responding so I let it run all night and it apparently failed.
I worked on the Windows Installer issue yesterday since that appears to be the root of the problem.
I've tried the installer cleanup utility which didn't do anything. It gives the...
