Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some documentation, maybe even an administrator's guide to a Samsung Compact or DS 616? As I always say, if it's for free, it's for me! Thanks!
Hey, Shey!
First, the obvious. Make sure, under Lines in your AA, that you have the Auto Attendant answering the lines. (F)983, Sys Admin password; press AA, then Lines. Check that Answer is set to Yes on these lines.
Also, make sure your line numbering matches up. Line 7 is actually Line...
You must make sure your Routing service is set up right. This is all done in system programming (Feature **266344).
1. You have to make sure you set a destination code. If possible, make it a single digit. The smaller the code, the easier for the customer.
2. Pick your route number...
Try this in system programming. Go in to system programming, then Terminals and Sets. Enter the extension you want to log the calls. Go to the heading User Preferences. Look for Call Log Options. Changer it to Log All Calls. The default is to log calls when No One Answered. You can also...
Hey, guys. I solved the problem.
kclear was on the right track. The T7316's are sitting on plastic stands. The lip that holds the phone up was obstructing the microphone. For those that don't know, the mike is almost directly under the line/feature buttons, on the edge of the phone.

Have you tried programming the buttons in system programming?
Go to Terminals and Sets, enter the DN, then go to User Preferences. See if you can go to button programming, then program button 18 from there. Any programming you do in there will retain its memory, since it's in system...
Although I haven't messed with a BCM in a while, my understanding is the latest release addresses many of the bugs in the earlier versions. I hope this is helpful.
The most obvious to me first, shawn, is to make sure you haven't double punched your phone down to the block, or that the jumper wire is not off by a pin....... Also, make sure it is actually on the extension side of the block. Just a couple suggestions to get the session started.
Yuri,
Do you have that line assigned to appear and ring on that extension? Also, to clarify, you have to set the prime set for sets AND lines separately.
I agree, jgideon. I'm curious if I received a bad shipment of 5 phones. I tried another, and it did the same thing.
Hey, kclear. I appreciate the tip. I checked to make sure the path was clear, and it is. Any other suggestions?
You do that in system programming.
1. F **266344, then 266344 again.
2. At Terminals and Sets, press Show
3. Enter the extension number.
4. Press Show Twice.
5. Press next until you see Intercom Keys.
6. Press change until you reach 2, probably once.
7. Press Next once.
8. Press...
