Have set up sip trunking between a MITEL 3300 ICP with NuPoint Voice Messaging and a Nortel CS1000. Seems to work for the most part, but wondering if anyone has come across the following problem: internal call from the CS1000 on an IP phone to the MITEL - to an IP phone. If the call goes to...

What release level are you on, on the 3300 ICP?
We will be on MCD 4.2 & we're on 6.0 on the CS1000.
Didn't get the doc, can you check the address ----

Don't get me started - I started working full-time in 1979 for Burroughs - mainframe computers - in technical support - in 1994 I made the jump to telecomm, quite by accident - the guys in the Property department retired and the powers-that-be thought, hey, you know, cabling for voice and data...
I'm a long-term Nortel customer; new to MITEL. We're putting in a 3300 ICP (MCD 4.2) and want to connect to our CS1000M via SIP trunking. My understanding from MITEL is that this is possible as of CS1000 software release 4.5. Anyone have experience with this or know of documentation?
Thanks...

Had a similar problem today -- turned out I had some CLID entries missing - so instead of the calling id number, the DN got sent out.
This prevented sets with the missing CLIDs to not be able to make toll-free calls. To complicate matters, we use a different telco than the...
Thank you; I hooked up the external power; it can run either way --- I do get messages now. First it says:
LOADING: Initializing bootram then
LOADING: Loading boot parameters
and there it sits ---
Now I'm back to the original problem -- we had 2 i2033s do this today upon reboot.
I have an i2033 that won't boot. I think I unplugged the network jack while it was downloading firmware. Is there any way to resurrect this phone?
I know the jack is live - I hooked up an i2002 and it works.
Darlene
Thank you very much for that suggestion. I will try adding the DMI to the existing RLI ----
I got it working by removing one of my ROUTs -- it had a DES of WAT --- but I am getting errors now ---
I think I will put back the ROUT --- add the DMI to the existing RLI, CTYP NPA and see how that...
On the advice of Allstream, the new carrier; and TELUS, our support vendor -- we were told that nothing on the PBX needed to change, that Allstream would configure the PRI just like it was on Bell --- TELUS was adamant that there was no programming changes needed, that they didn't even need to...
Just switched carriers - Bell to Allstream.
Can't make outbound long distance calls.
Allstream says to change "tagging on outbound calls" from OUTWATS to National or Unknown.
Any ideas on where I do this?
I set BDCT to YES --- but can't figure out where to set the number of connections on the trunk. So then I tried to set it back to NO and it tells me that "SCH0062
The change of a Music broadcast route to a non broadcasting route, is not allowed."
I do not have ISMs for RAN CON or MUS CON ---...
Thanks for all the information.
To TRITON101 - they are on the same PBX - one location is connected via fibre and a wall-mounted fibre remote cabinet; the other is connected via fibre, just simply IP sets plugged into the data switch.
The second site just recently converted over from a Norstar...
Wouldn't that put it on all outbound calls - the same MOH - I need 3 different things to happen --- callers from one location get MOH-1, callers from second location get MOH-2 and the rest of the outbound callers get nothing at all.
Darlene
We have a CS1000M with 2 MOHs. Calls to 1 specific DID number go to a route which uses MOH-A. Calls to another specific DID go to another route which uses MOH-B. Calls to any other DID don't use MOH at all.
Here's one of the RDBs that has MOH.

Thank you MagnaRGP! I'm ok with the PBX time where CallPilot is --- we are having some call routing issues and in investigating, I found out that the Branch Office had never had its DST parameters set up and was running an hour ahead.
Darlene
Calls come in to a Branch Office via a local PRI and are forwarded to CallPilot which is located on another PBX, a CS1000M -- PBXs are connected via fibre and IP trunks.
Which time does CallPilot use -- the Branch office time? the CS1000M time or CallPilot server time?
Thanks
Darlene
