HELP SORTING A FILE

Hi John, It looks like your input is seperated by tabs. If so, you could do something like awk ' FS="<TAB>" {print $3,$4,$5,$1,$2}' filename |sort -nr -k 1 Replace <TAB> by a TAB character... Of course your output will change slightly :-) Willem

    How to integrate RMAN script

Hi lor, I don't know if and how you can get rid of this. But I wouldn't think this should be a problem. We have several clients fot the same node, each backing up different files. One does the system backup and the others do RMAN backups. You could also use directives to keep Networker from...

    How to integrate RMAN script

Hi lor, What you should do is create a group and client for your RMAN backup. Then you should use your RMAN start script as your backup command for that client, remember the name has to start with nsr, and copy that script into Networker's bin directory. You can then start the RMAN backup by...

Hi, We have a similar problem with some savesets having a different expiry time because they have been made using RMAN. I am using a temporary workaround to change the expiry time of those savesets. Maybe you could do something similar to change your savesets. You will have to change this a...
