    Actually, I edited the registry myself, and carefully followed the instructions, so I'm sure it was done right. I have also tried creating a new user and changing passwords for the Windows logon, but that hasn't helped either.

    Can Outlook connect to Exchange AND POP3?

    Set up the exchange account first, then your POP3 accounts. I have an Exchange and 3 POP3 accounts in Outlook 2002 ahd they all work fine.
