I want to setup Outlook to connect to my webmail account using POP3, but also would like to be able to connect to an Exchange Server / Workgroup PostOffice to share contacts and documents etc. . . Is this possible? When I initially fire up Outlook, it gives me a choice to configure it to work with Exchange or POP3, but I can never seem to get the Outlook to be able to work with both.

Thanks in advance!!

I believe that if you configure Outlook with the Exchange option, you can add a POP3 account after the setup. This was definitely true in Outlook 2000. From your email, it sounds like you're using Outlook 2002. I would assume the same holds true for this version.

Set up the exchange account first, then your POP3 accounts. I have an Exchange and 3 POP3 accounts in Outlook 2002 ahd they all work fine.

This is sort of strange, but what if I don't have an Exchange Server set up yet, but I still want to have a way to share a list of contacts and schedules and such with a small network of computers, and be able to get POP3 mail. Isn't there something like Workgroup Postoffice or something?

Thanks,
Rob

After digging a little deeper, I have come across a post that says I cannot use Outlook 2002 with MS Workgroup Postoffice. I am in fact trying to use Outlook 2002. Anybody have any ideas on how I can share internal e-mail, contacts, etc., and allow each user to get at their POP3 mail? Thanks for all your help!!
