Whenever I READ from my hard drive, I here a clicking noise. The file opens, but should I be worried? Strangly, it only happens when I READ from the hard drive, not write. Any ideas?

I know Ctrl Alt Delete on the welcome screen isn't susposed to work on XP home, but if nobody is logged on and you hit Ctrl Alt Delete twice, it works!!!!!

I have noticed that on my laptop, about every other time I press the spacebar, it beeps. I have muted the speakers and it still does it. Should I be worried? Thank You.

I was wondering if there was any way to activate Ctrl+alt+delete twice on the welcome screen so I could login as the admin. Is there a way to do this wihtout booting into safe mode in XP home??? Thanks.

I have two computers networked.........a laptop and a desktop. I need to be able to control the desktop from the laptop, and control the laptop from the desktop computer. I have tried remote assistance, and that didn't work. Thank You.

Thanks for the link........it worked perfectly...but I have to click unhide users and then type in their name......if I do ctrl+alt+delete twice it doesn't work. Is there a way to enable ctrl+alt+delete on the welcome screen? Thanks alot for your help.

I was wondering if there was a way to hide my administrator account on windows xp home. I've heard that in xp Pro, you can press ctrl+alt+delete twice, but that doesn't work with xp home!! Please Help! Thank you!

I am switching ISP's...........but, currently, I have two. The computer automatically checks for mail on one account..............I want it to check for mail on the other!! Is there any way to change this?? Thanks.
