Figured it out thanks for the input anyways.
In global config you need to add the following code:
hw-module module 2 port-group 1 select gigabitethernet
Only down fall is now all the 8 ports are throttled to 1 Gig, and or 2 Gig when using the TwinGig converter.

I installed a 8 port 10Gig module in the 4900M (This is the only card that supports the TwinGig card) When I put two SM Fiber SFP’s in the TwinGig card the switch does not recognize the SFP?
Any thoughts??

Is there an option to just track particular interface on a switch/router?
I know you can turn on
loggin event link-status default
But that monitors every interface on a switch and I have a 6513 where I just want to monitor the trunk ports?
Any ideas?
Interesting what else would cause a log message of that nature if it is not a spanning-tree problem? Also should the native VLAN be placed in the allowed list?

I have a Cisco 4948 with two trunk running back to two separate 6513’s. Last week I had a few end users complain they lost their session on their application. When I took a look at the switch the log showed:
