CPU levels on CAT 6500

What is an acceptable CPU level on a 6513, and or when do I start raising a flag?

Sup2, Sup32, Sup720? MSFC installed? Running Hybrid or Native IOS?

What are you doing on the switch is something that needs to be reviewed.

Are you using it for routing? Multicast? IPX, etc..

Many thigns require CPU power. just giving a general answer is hard.

I wouldn't start getting worried until you are running over 75 percent on a constant basis

Most traffic is switched at the hardware level , if you ever get up to the 70% level you have something unusual going on that needs to investigated . Most traffic should never even hit the cpu .
