Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a QoS policy whereby traffic coming from a certain Vlan is limited to 192k on the WAN interface of a 4507R.

Can anyone help with the code here please as I'm fairly clueless and this is urgent????

Many thanks,

Paul

Figured it out thanks for the input anyways.

In global config you need to add the following code:
hw-module module 2 port-group 1 select gigabitethernet

Only down fall is now all the 8 ports are throttled to 1 Gig, and or 2 Gig when using the TwinGig converter.

Lobo66 I think you posted your reply in the wrong thread.

Is there anyone able to help me with my QoS issue?

Regards,

Paul

Hey dude,

I've got the same task to do right now, too.

What I read in the manual was that maybe we can create an IP class by using an ACL. Then apply a policy to that IP range (IP class)... or something like that.

I came back to tektips because it confuses me though.

I wonder if I'm on the right path.

I found it in the Cisco 3560 Software Config Manual pdf.
